Looking to buy first Jeep (NoVA Area)

Hey, I'm going to be buying my first Jeep at the end of this summer and wanted to know what I should look for. I already know that I definitely want to get the 4.0 litre 6 vs. the 4 cyl. and my budget is going to put in me in the 88-95 model range. Also, is anyone selling one for between 1800 - 2200?

For that price range it might be hard finding one that doesn't have a lot of miles on it or beat up. But there are always good deals out there, just gotta hunt em down.

No longer a jeeper, BUT I will return!

Do your homework. Research everything. Be patient and wait for just the right one to turn up. Enjoy the process!

Thanks! Also, as I've been looking I've found more than a few where the reverse idle gear needs to be replaced. How difficult would that be to do myself, because it looks like it's only a $35 part?
