I live in southern az, and just bought a shiny new JKU sport on Dec 26, because Santa did not bring me what I wanted. It is billet colored Silver, and is as base of a model as I've seen. I originally thought I would buy a used JK, but prices for gently used were nearly if not more than a new jeep. With a little inspection, most of them appeared to have cheap lift kits, worn tires, and questionable mechanical history. Others had upgrades I would not have purchased new or used. Was able to find a year end special for $25k. Went to Bill Luke in Phoenix. I mention this just in case someone else is shopping for a new jeep, as they also offer $400 towards a one way plane ticket. Billluke.com is their website. If you do buy from in the next 3 months, please mention my name (David Shumway) and they will make a jeep payment for me too. This is something they offer to all customers. They also are an AEV dealer, meaning they can build u one of those. They had one in stock, but my guess custom is the way to go on those. This seems ideal to me for someone who would like to get a new jeep, but only drive cross country one time to catch az, ut, and co trails. Obviously I'm only selling you for the free car pmt.

As far as jeeping goes, I think this is a slightly early midlife crisis issue... I had a Willy's cj5 in high school. Already enjoying the jeep in its stock mode. I'm finding it more than capable for the dirt roads and jeep trails in my back yard. Biggest regret.... Not buying a new jeep a few years ago.
I live in southern az, and plan to spend many hours jeeping with my family. (Did I mention I have 8 kids? That teraflex 3rd row I've seen in the forum have my attention.
