Misplaced Texan in Wisconsin

Yeah Yeah Yeah....dont ask what I am doing in Wisconsin....I am still trying to figure it out. With all luck, I wont be here much longer.

I just sold my 2008 F350. Lift kit, Diesel, Chip, tires, wheels...the works. It was a really sad weekend....like going through a divorce...only worse!

Good news is that I just bought my first wrangler. Have always wanted one and now is the time. 2006 Yellow X 2door, 6" lift and 33" tires, 6 speed with 28,000 miles.

Via Ebay....picking it up in Alabama Saturday and should have a nice weekend rive back up!

Look forward to talking "Jeep" with ya'll really soon!

Chris

Welcome to the forum! I would say you made a good switch moving to a Jeep from a Ford but I don't want to insult any of my Ford driving friends. I don't need to tell you anyway because this summer when your riding around with the top down...you'll know!

Sweet bergy! Hopefully we will see you soon. There any good Jeep rides that go on in this part of the state?

Hey pking911...I am flying into Birmingham and the seller is going to take me back to Red Bay Al....right on the MS border. Couple hour drive I guess. I am picking up there and hoping I have time to get some real BBQ while I am down south....the crap they have up here is like eating hotdogs on the grill!

I am Currently living in the Milwaukee area.. there are tons of Clubs here... Not too much land to Wheel on, unless you know a private owner.

I'd recommend WI4x4.com (Great site to get the latest and greatest info about everything.. trail rides, for sale, events, tutorials)

Brew City Crawler is the name of the Club that I'm in.. Currently small in SE Wisconsin

You'll want to check out WHOVA (Wisconsin off Highway Vehicle Association) They are at the Forefront in keeping out lands open to wheel.

Just use the links in my signature.
I'm just NW of Milwaukee but wished I lived in Wyoming.
