Hi everyone, the name is Mike and I reside in Bernhards Bay, New York. I joined this organization many months ago but only tonight finally relocated the site and decided to send a Neebie message.
I have owned Jeeps for years beginning with a 2000 Cherokee, then a 96 Wrangler, an 04 Wrangler Rubicon, nest an 08 Wrangler Rubicon sold it to pay bills and now have an 07 Wrangler Rubicon.
I enjoy winter driving and wnat to go off roading but haven't had much experience. I have no contacts with any other Jeep owners nor do I know of any trails to seek out.
My wife and I think we'd enjoy some trips off roading with others on trails which others know first hand to assure we have others who could share skills, techniques or just be there in case of mistakes.
We would love to join in on short to medium trips travelling to remote sites, fun trails or even some trail runs and then a good place to have a nice dinner with fellow members.
I'd be interested in attending or at least knowing of upcoming meetings, get to gethers or off road trip or trail planning or just a chance to meet other Jeep owners to share stories and get to know others who enjoy owning operating the best off road vehicles in the world.
If anyone knows of upcoming meetings which wouldn't be too far from where I live north of Syracuse, I'd appreciate knowing about them. If others live up here or around where I reside I would also like to hear from you as well. I will now try to check back more frequently to make sure any new messages get read in a timely fashion. It is pretty odd how our winter this season is so unusually low amounts of snow. Where we live we usually get feet not inches but this year my guess is less than 4 feet so far this year and almost all of it is gone with little on the ground even now. I need to learn how to navigate the site allot better but at least wanted to send out a newbie message to say hello and wish everyone as best a 2012 as possible based on all the stuff going on around us. Best regards to all, Mike Russo olpatriot....
