My name is Peter, I'm a ....

Hello Forum-

After some insistence and long staredowns, "The Texas Apple"'s influence has led me here.

I'm a CJ guy. Seeing that there isn't much CJ activity on this forum, I'm wondering why? Are all you CJ's disguising yourselves as Wranglers (gasp!).

Seriously, as being the parental figures in the 'Wrangler World', we need to represent!

All I know is it kills me when someone says "nice wrangler" when referring to my CJ. Uuugghhhh-- my skin crawls just thinking about it! Personally, I think we are all victims of some evil marketing ploy by the marketing deptartment at Jeep. Use your letters! -- YJ's and TJ's need to be referred to as such!!!

It's great to be here--

TallPeter

Let's see... www.wranglerforum.com - maybe that's why you're not seeing much CJ activity.

Just kidding.

Welcome aboard and glad to have you with us.

"She" is better known as firstaidTJ

I don't know what her reputation is around here... all I can say is-- don't mess with her!

How am I ever going to soften my image, now!
....did I really give you "the look", Pete ....well, maybe I did a time or two.

I admit, I tell all my Jeeping friends how great it is here on WF. Glad to have you with us...I'll stop harping about what a friendly knowledgable group this is, cause you'll see for yourself.

Hopefully we can jump start some activity in the CJ section....it was kinda hard to talk to myself....maybe we should get Jon on here, he'd get the place jumping

oh yea, "nice wrangler!"

Peter, I'm completely with you on the letter designations. Also, for the CJ, it is an important part of our Jeep family. I think people have been fooled by the forum address.

Oh yeah, as faras Kat's reputation here, this forum probably wouldn't have been as pleasant without her.

Welcome aboard Peter. When I saw Jersey, I figured you were talking about the same Kat that keeps us in line around here.

Grew up with an 83 CJ-7 myself and it's still in the family. Gotta admit that I spend more time with my Wrangler however. Hell I think we have one member on here that owns like 4 or 5 CJ's still.

Welcome jeep-power, been thinking of getting a CJ myself, keeping my TJ as a daily driver. Or just specializing them both for different offroad adventures.

Wish I was a little closer, Been wanting to make a rockcrawler, actually I've been keeping my eye on a YJ for 1500, and a cj5 for 2500. Just need to hit the safety level in my bank account before spending the money.
