I was the high bidder on this TJ on an eBay auction. It was a no reserve 3 day auction. It's a 6cyl Automatic with 122,000mi. I got it for $4,827. It's through a dealer here in RI so by law it comes serviced with an inspection sticker. It's got some blistering of the paint on one fender and on the windshield hinges. I've included pictures of this. I've been looking for awhile for a TJ. I pick it up this Saturday. I've got my 1974 CJ5 for sale so I guess I'll have two Jeeps until I sell my CJ in the spring (with any luck). I plan on putting a small suspension lift and an even smaller body lift on my TJ and and buying some of the Rubicon Moab 16" wheels with some aggressive off road tires. I'd like to find a set of take off from someone who is serious about wheeling and upgrading. I'll also get the paint blisters fixed by a buddy of mine. I'm not sure what to do about the windshield hinges rusting. I'd like stainless for the rust factor but I'm not into shiny. Any suggestions?
I almost forgot to mention that those are "wheel covers", not chrome wheels. Cool, huh?
