Talking My Newish 2003 Sport 4.0 Auto

Hey ya'll,

Well after 800 miles of road trips, 4 heartbreaking let downs and many phone calls we settled on a nice 2003 Sport. Best part is... only 71,210 miles!
The previous owner took great care of the looks, but the functionality of the "Jeep" needs to be dealt with. The suspension is in need of new shocks, tires and Sway Bar links (they are both broken...???).

As far as tires...researching....trying to figure out if 31's will fit without a lift. And what to go with, since we dont "mud" but it will be a beach and street ride...not a daily driver.

It has a hard top, which as of right this moment will probably go up for sale. And tube bumpers (black) front and rear (which are also going to be sold).

Anyway, here are a couple of sneak peeks...

If its the right price I'd be interested in the rear bumper and hard top. I have cash and a new soft top

The hard top is in great physical condition, but the paint is crap. It would need to be rhino'd / painted....will let you know!

Thanks guys!

Just got a sweet deal on Cooper STTs.....so new rubber is on the way. I also ordered the Skyjacker Hydros, Steering Stabilizer and a full set up front and rear sway bushings. I have a set of sway bar links, the PO had them and never installed. Might opt to buy a good set (his look generic). And got a set of mirror reloc tabs...(cops here freak out if the doors are off and no mirrors.

Looks pretty clean. Congrats! What did you end up paying for it?
