| New '95 YJ Owner
Picked up my first jeep about a month ago. Really enjoying it so far. It's a '95, 4cyl with 128K miles. I've changed all the fluids, serpentine belt, flushed radiator, new plugs/wires. Other than the usual, does anyone have any other advice to make this little beast more "road worthy". Found out the parking brake was under 2002 recall yesterday. Local dealer's putting in a new assembly for free next week. Any special "quirks" for this model that I should know about? Thanks.
One more question...as a Harley guy too, which came first...the Jeep wave, or the biker wave?!?

Welcome. I can't answer that question because I rode my Harley way before I bought my Jeep. So let's just say that they started at the same time. The day you first rode or drove it on the street.

Wow. I'm envious of you. I want a YJ so bad, but it has to be an auto; Mom can't drive a stick for reasons unknown- mainly because if she has to move my vehicle and I'm not home (say at a friends house, at school- which is only a mile away- etc.) she can easily move it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the YJ's automatic tranny's come in a 3 speed flavor only? I'm used to 4 speed, and 5 speed, and 6 speed, but not 3 speed.

Howdy from Western Montana!
Not sure about the wave, but having had a bike for years and a new Jeep owner, I can only say that when I am on my bike most other bikers wave, but since I have had my jeep, only one other "Jeeper" has waved.....?? None the less, I absolutely love this Jeep!
