New B from the mid-south

Hey folks, name is Chris and I'm a Jeepoholic. I've had my 99 Sahara for about six months and so far I've done a 2" BB wheels & 31" BFGs and had bunches of fun in it with the family.

Here's a few pics of the Heep and our adventures.

Hope to possibly do some wheeling with some of you folks some day.

That red clay from northern Mississippi sure looks familiar. I am about 2 hours away from you in Searcy, Arkansas. I go to Florence, Alabama to visit my folks and pass right through N. Miss on the way.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcomes every body.

Actually dare that red clay is up around the Pickwick dam area in Tennessee.

...but we have plenty of that around here also.

Why yes I do know chuck. I am the club secretary for midsouth jeeps and have been wheeling with him twice now. Hell of a nice guy.

I haven't been down there yet. I have 900 acres of delta farmland that my brother-in-law owns, and 1500 acres of wooded, rocky, hilly terrain in the foothills of the ozarks that my other brother-in-law manages, so I haven't run out of options on wheeling them, and gone down to Superlift yet.

That's awesome... All we have around here is mud so I have to venture out to get some decent wheeling in.

Our club has a couple runs coming up. One Sept. 1-3 & our first year anniversary run Oct 12-14 @ Superlift. If any of you guys are near there or going to be near Hot Springs either of those weekends you should come out and ride the trails with us.

Don't forget to come by for your steak!

Yes, I get the best of both worlds. Go to the delta for mud. Go to the foothills for the rocks and creek beds. Both are less than 45 minutes from my front door. - As is the best trout fishing stream you would ever want to find. World record brown trout came out of that little river.

No, I don't work for the Dept of Tourism, but I will encourage you to come check Arkansas out, if you get the chance.

You have a crystal ball?!?! That's so cool.

If you can find your way down to God's country come on down. We play longer, stronger, harder, and faster down here. You can tell your buddies in Jersey you have seen the light and you are going to buy some overalls, flipflops, a straw hat, and move to the south.

You need to come on back down. When the northerners brainwash you into not saying y'all anymore you are pretty much doomed.
