New Buyer...need advice

I am a novice to Jeep. Owned a Grand wagoneer years ago. My daughter will be 16 in Jan and wants nothing but a Jeep Wrangler. Need advice on buying a '99 or '00 wrangler. ie What to look for, look out for, accessories to purchase. BTW, is 4wd an option or is it standard on the Wrangler.

4wd is standard on the TJs. It is now an option on the JKs. I would look for one that was well maintained. Little or no rust, Look under the jeep for evidence if it was wheeled hard, example if the gas tank shield or transfer case sheild has been dented from rocks or such. I would also buy a 4.0 I6 for an engine. If it was well maintained it is pretty much a rock. Automatic or Manual, is your choice. What kind of accessories are you lookin to buy? There are tons of Accessories for the Jeep TJ.
Places to buy is Jeep Parts, Jeep Accessories, and Jeep Tops by 4 Wheel Drive Hardware ? Your Jeep Parts Source or Jeep Parts, Jeep Accessories & Jeep Soft Tops From The Jeep Parts Experts - Quadratec, there are alot more places to buy from these are just a couple.

Yes it was standard on TJ's but you could still get one as a 2wd. You just had to order it as a 2wd.

Why you would want a 2wd wrangler is beyond me, but they do exist. Just VERY rare. Most of the 2wd TJ's were used as mail vehicles.
