New fella from South Eastern Ky, TN, VA area.

Hey guys! My name is Jesse and I now have a Jeep addiction. I got my 97 TJ SE 4cyl 5 speed hardtop after years of looking for one in Nov of 2012. I had been looking at some really nice clean jeeps but always wanted a slightly rougher TJ for myself that I could really get out and have fun in without having to worry about scratching it up or getting mud inside. Something to push hard, have fun, if it breaks, fix it and continue on.

I have been lingering on this site for a year reading but finally decided to become part of the community and hopefully meet some new friends and maybe ride with some of you locally. I live in the London/Corbin Ky area as well as Lee Co, Va. Interested in trail riding anywhere in London, Corbin, Barbourville, Pineville, Middlesboro, Harrogate, Tazewell, New Tazewell, Ewing, Rose Hill, Jonesville or anywhere close to any of those.

If anyone in any of those areas know of any TJs being parted out or have any upgrade parts for sale please shoot me a PM. I am in need of a lot of random parts. Thanks in advance and it's nice to meet you guys!

Thanks for the very warm welcome guys! Much appreciated. Wishing I would have driven my Jeep to visit family yesterday. I drove the little green go kart in one of the pictures above and before I left town I got held up getting some records. It was just enough to catch me in the snow getting ready to go through the tunnel in Middlesboro. Literally was going up the slight incline, the car started slowing down until it finally just stopped and started slowly spinning sideways. Sadly my jeep is just a few miles on the other side of the tunnel but it wasn't worth the risk so I just got a hotel room for the night.

I am looking at it this way. Plenty of free time now to familiarize myself with the forum lol One thing I am getting ready to start searching is doing something fun with the little 4cyl. I know people have added a supercharger to the I6 but has it ever been done on the 2.5 4cyl? Not looking for a big fancy setup. I would swap it to the I6 or LSX before I would spend a ton of money on the 2.5 (although don't get me wrong I love the little 4cyl).

I love Bristol! We were there last month driving around the track for Speedway in Lights. Very fun! I am in Lee Co, Rose Hill area for the most part. I haven't been down here long though and haven't found anywhere to ride yet. If I ever find anything around here I will hit you up. Especially when it gets a tad warmer, I stay on the trails as much as possible.
