Smile New from Binghamton

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about getting an 09 Wrangler, I dream of riding with the top down! I just want to see what would be the biggest issues with these vehicles from real owners. I have an 01 Taurus right now, and the older it gets, the more money I seem to be putting into it, and I don't want that to happen with a new Jeep. I would rather accessorize, the one I'm looking at doesn't have a hard top, which I would definitely need for winter...

So what is the biggest complaint about wranglers? And have you ever had issues with roll-overs?

Thanks for the help!

Welcome!

Welcome to the forum! Let's dispel that no soft top for winter mindset! I live at 3,000' elevation in the Appalachian Mountains of western Maryland where we get over 200" of snow per year and bitter cold temps. I love my soft top and find it serves just fine in the harsh winter months up here. As soon as the temps get around 70, off comes the doors, sides, and rear window (I leave the top on like a bikini top due to frequent rain). Just my 2 cents worth. Again, welcome!
