Talking New from Delaware :)

Hi everyone. I've been a Jeep owner for 3 years now and this summer I am looking to upgrade my baby. I LOVE my Wrangler and can't wait till the weather gets warm to take the top down. I am hoping to learn alot from everyone here and get some input from you about my upgrades.

Ok here goes. If anyone has done a custom paint job in the New Castle County area could you please let me know. I have been a Cowboys fan my entire life and would like to have my Jeep custom painted Cowboys blue and silver. I wasn't sure if you can even paint the hard top or if my soft top comes in any color other than black and tan.

I am willing to invest alot in this because I plan on having my baby for a long time and even though it's tough being a Cowboys fan in Eagles country I am proud to be a fan and would love to show it off. I can't find anyone willing to help me out they just look at me like I'm a crazy lady off my rocker. Please someone help me.

Thanks

Talking currently

I guess it would help if I was a little more descriptive.

Currently my Wrangler is black on black with NO mod's at all. I have both a hard and soft top, she's a 4 door with 18" rims.

I plan on the body of the truck being Cowboys blue and if possible painting the hard top silver and possibly adding some chrome accents (not to much I dont' want to look like a baller..LOL) I would like to put different rims and possibly larger tires on it. I'm adding a Cowboys star on the tire cover.

Also for the summer I am going to put on a bikini top and safari doors. Neoprene seat covers with the Cowboys star embroidered on the head rests.

I hope that gives you a mental picture of what I would like to do. I will post a picture of my Jeep in the "now" stage as soon as I can but my daughter broke my digital camera and my phone just doesn't cut it.

And thanks for the welcome

Welcome to the forum. Color combo sounds good and you're a brave person to sport a Cowboy logo here in the east. Best of luck with your project.

Welcome kirakyn! You can paint the hardtop if you want. Since you Jeep is black on black you could save yourself a lot of money if you just switch teams and went with the Raiders paint scheme.

Wink Hmmm

Raiders huh? As much money as that would save me I think I'll stick with my "boys" but thanks for the suggestion

I'm happy to know I can paint my hard top. I am hoping to find someone that can do it locally and see if they can do a computer rendering first so I can make any adjustments to my plans before they paint it.

If anyone knows a body shop in the Wilmington area looking for a project please let me know.

Welcome from a DE native son (but Slower DE). I think it would look cool, but don't think I'd be running around Iggles country sporting that star.

LOL..I already sport a huge array of Dallas "stuff" from headrest and a stearing wheel cover to magnets on the doors and hood. Also some rearview mirror hangers and a few other things. I am not a real popular girl around Philly so I just avoid that city all together. But I'm proud to be a fan and no Eagles fan is gonna scare me off.

Welcome, although I live in New Jersey I also have a house in Delaware (Bethany Beach). My Jeep spends a lot of time in the sand on the beach. By the way you sure you don't like Eagles green?
