New from MA

New member today, but had my 2009 2d JK for last two years. Looking for best tire on sand, any thoughts?

Hi and Welcome to the Forum.

Regarding the tires in the sand, I've run both the stock Sahara tire and the Rubicon tires on the beach and both perform just fine. Any tire will be OK, just remember to air down to 12-15 psi.

Thanks for the info. I have BFG Rugged Terrian on the stock 16' wheels right now, but wanted to go a little bit bigger. I spend most time on pavement and weekends on the sand and didnt know if going bigger was a good idea if only on the sand.
