New from New York! 1st jeep, very excited!

well a little info about myself... grandfather was a marine, plan on joining the corps myself since i was 12. Im 16 years of age, weighh 185 6'1". been doing misc construction jobs, landscscaping, plumbing etc etc since i was 13 years of age. when i was 13, i bought a 1976 chevrolet C-10, however that was simply just a project, and we never used it. The following Jeep is my 1st Vehicle, that i plan on driving and keeping for an extremely long, time because it symbolizes who i am, and my patriotism... and its just plain badass.

Anyways heres My Jeep, 1988 Wrangler Sahara Edition, picked it up for $2000, has original everything, as you can see its in extremely nice condition paint and interior. just went over 60k miles which isnt a lot at all. I have very big plans for this jeep, wont give all them away but im going to say that im getting it lifted, new rims, New tires, Family Roll Cage New paint scheme its gonna look sick. theres more and in detail but ill update as i purchase.

hey im in the hudson valley area .im thinking bout heading to some pick n' pulls and put some ads up on craigslist about the parts that i want. i found some seats that are extremeley good looking. i decided to start off with some tires and rims because regardless of my color scheme the wheels and rims are part of my mental image.

Best bet is to figure out what your looking for, like say its rockers... You can look on quadretec. 4wd or whever to get an idea, then check the forum to see what else there is because there are a lot of other companies that make much better prodicts than the big sites sell well i mean products like bumpers skids and such but if your just looking for a flashlight holder or seat covers go to the big sights and no jeep places in hv that i knpw of

thanks a lot. yea im looking for minor things such as seat covers, and a dash board/or cover steering wheel cover, middle console and accessories such as that. im also interested in getting a lift on the jeep, but im unsure how that whole thing works, theres a guy selling locally 17" Mud tires and i currently have 15" tires on mine so im not sure if they will fit. if someone is able to give me the basics on lift and tires thatd be greatly appreciated. thanks again
