new from nh

Just wanted to introduce myself. I got my first wrangler's about 3 months ago, its a 98 sport with the 4.0 in it, and Meyer plow up front. I've always thought wrangler's were cool, but had only rode in one a couple times, and I never expected to love it as much as I do. I grew up driving vw's because they're quick and small, and they have a great community that surrounds them. Anytime I would see a veedub while driving mine we would wave at each other. The first day I got my jeep I started getting that wave from all the fellow wrangler's. It was nice to feel instantly welcomed into the community, and I'm sure it'll be no different on line than it is on the road.

Welcome to the forum. My dad was a bug/beetle guy for the longest time. I remember growing up having 15 to 20 shells around our back yard at any given time and all of his buddies would come over and wrench on them. You're definitely right about the sense of community both here and in VWs.
