New from Philadelphia

Hi Everyone,

Just got 2003 Wrangler on Friday, and looking to learn some more about Jeeps. My jeep has a 2.4 and 5 speed, looks like its got a two inch lift. It came with a set of Craiger 397's and BF KM2's that are 32X11.50X15.

My first concern is I hear these tires weigh a ton, I love the look, but I may try to trade for some stockers since I drive 100 miles a day during the week. Any thoughts on how much this tire and wheel combo is hurting my fuel economy? How much more do you think the craigers weigh vs stock aluminum wheels? I need to be get 20 mpgs on the highway!

Thanks!

Chris

I doubt you'll get 20mpg highway even stock so keep em!!! Lol with the 2.5 lift you'll hate the way it looks on stock tires and rims you should ask around about potentially regearing your rears that's my next step but figure on about 1500 bucks or so I've been told... See if someone will swap out to stock suspension and tires I'm sure you could find someone near by! I'm in south jersey near Philly if you ever wanna take it out and get it dirty!
