New from Southern Illinois

Hi all, names Jordan, I'm 18 and from the Southern Illinois area. Currently working at Valvoline while waiting to ship out for basic hopefully before the end of the year. Picking up my first Wrangler here in about an hour. Been researching like crazy. Got my hands on a 98 Wrangler Sahara, I6 4.0, auto trans. After selling my truck, I've got a little bit of money to play around with so I was hoping someone could give me some information! As of now the Wrangler is stock, I'd like to run 33x12.5x15 BFG A/T's, was wanting to run 35's but it seems illogical for me right now. What I'm looking for is a complete list of everything I need to do this. I was guessing a 3in suspension, would I need to regear? It's got 3.73's in it now so I'm guessing so. Sorry for such a long post!

Thanks in advance y'all! -JT

I'm located in Belleville just east of St. Louis! Turns out I was wrong, it has what appears to be a 4" short arm lift and 33x12.5's already, what are the chances?
Here are some pictures I took today after taking the doors and top off (it was a must):

Nice Jeep. I just bought my first one a couple weeks ago. I love it. Not ben able to try it out too much, just some old backroads and trails, nothing hard. I'm located in between Benton and Mt. Vernon IL. Jeep looks good.

Welcome to the Forum! What kind of engine oil are you going to use? Just kidding - you work for Valvoline.
