New guy buying wrangler soon, Need advise

Hi all, I have been lurking reading and learning on this forum for a few weeks. I have been looking for my ideal wrangler for almost a month now. I have looked at a few but I guess you could say I am being picky. I know that if I do not get a rubicon I would like to get a D44 rear atleast for the strength. I do not plan to go bigger then 33s and will daily drive it but have another vehicle to if I need. I am going manual as well. I plan on buying private because I have cash. Here are my options that I have found and are available now.

First on the higher price end I found a pretty much stock 03 Rubicon with 51k miles. Its clean and nice but he doesn't want to take less then 15.5k for it. Con for me is high price and its already 10yrs old but the pros are it a rubi and I would not have to rear gear for 33s.

Second Im looking a an 04 Rocky Mountain Edition with 71k on it almost all stock again. They are asking 14k obo so it seems steep and almost worth going the extra for the rubi if I can't get it down around 12k.

Third is the cheapest option but may need money into it. Its a real close local guy with a 03 wrangler 4.0 stick. Has 2in BL aftermarket front and rear bumper sitting on 32s. Problems I have with it are it has a D35 rear, already has a winch on it and a sticker on the back that says "Got Mud?" so I'm guessing its seen some off road time. I could probably get it for less the 9k thou.

So from my cheapest wrangler to the rubi is about a 7k price difference and with that kind of money I could put away for when needed.

Thanks for taking the time to read all this and I would like any opinions on which way you would go from your person wrangler buying experience or even any tips on what to look for when buying I may have missed.

Thanks for the help guys.
