New guy down south!

Hey Everyone, I am new to the Jeep forum thing but not new to forums. I have loved jeeps since I was able to drive but haven't ever owned one, until now. I have been around them alot and did alot of offroading in them with friends when I was younger. I have always wanted one and passed up buying a 86 CJ when I was 16 which I have regreted ever since. I came across a steel of a deal on a 04 wrangler sport with only 5k miles for only 17k I wasn't passing it up again. I really love it and can't wait to get started!

Thanks,

I am from Texas, and a recent import to Alabama by about 10 months. I don't take sides on the football thing. people in Bama take that way to seriously!!!

Welcome to the site and War Damn Eagle. BTW, your jeep is almost exactly how mine looked when I bought it, chrome bumper and all... I ditched that thing as soon as I could.

Yeah SEC football is a way of life sadly to say. Some take it way to far and it gets way to serious. Living here in t-town I know and see it first hand everytime there is a home game. I could tell you story after story about big rivals coming into town and how crazy it can get before and after the games.

I on the other hand love it but im not that die hard. I will however stick up for my team but im not about to go to jail over it. I may however steal a beer when your not looking :-P It's all about having a good time with me!

I would love to go wheeling with you guys I dunno how much I could handle never been to greyrock and haven't been trail riding in awhile but I have a buddy with a jeep too and I am sure we could get a small crew willing to go. Just give me a heads up the next time your plannin!

Haha sweet. I don't know what you are going for, but I got a Warn Rockcrawler Winch. Relatively cheap, simple, and looks good, IMO

Im thinking about going with some type of poweder coated winch bumper with built in foggers and tow hooks. Any favorite suggestions would be sweet!
