New guy from TN Plateau

Just purchased an 04 Sahara last week. Siena Pearl with hard and soft top,
Trac-Loc rear in a D44 Diff, 5 speed. It has the stock wheels with 265/75R 15 Cooper Discoverer ATR tires and only 46073 miles.
Me; I'm a 59 year old Vietnam Vet. Married 41 years, 1 daughter and 1 dog.
Been in Law Enforcement since 1969 when I came back from Nam and couldn't
buy a job. Right now, I'm a Parole Officer. Been one for the last 23 years after Child Sex Abuse Investigation for the local Sheriff's Dept had wore me
out.
Own 28 acres in the middle of no where. Nearest neighbor is 1/2 mile away
and that's my brother. Next neighbor is another 1/2 mile away and that's
my uncle. I'm the last home on a dead end road that dead ends against
the largest single land owner in TN that covers I don't know how many
thousands of acres and several mountains.
I don't hunt for sport since Nam but I do a lot of shooting. Own a Harley
Davidson Ultra Classic and a Kawasaki Nomad that I have made a Trike
out of. I ride all year long.
That's pretty much it.
Thanks for letting me join,
Dano

Yep, traffic jams sometimes cost me at least 10 to 15 seconds. What's the world
coming. :-) Here's a pic of my old 67 CJ and my wife, taken in 72.

I love it back here in the wood. The pic above was taken right after we build our
house back here. The grass the CJ is parked on was just about all the grass our
yard had. Mowed it with a push reel mower in about 10 minutes. This is our place
last spring. A little more yard but still totally surrounded by woods. Also, my 2
bikes.
