New guy from VA

Hey guys and gals,

I am from a decent sized town in Virginia called Roanoke and currently attend Radford University as a freshman. My car broke down the other weekend and completely destroyed the engine, so I had to get a new car to get back and forth from a job and home when I needed to. After a few days of car searching I landed on jeep wranglers. Long story short I now have an 6 speed 06 jeep wrangler x with a 3 or 4 inch lift and 33 inch tires. I'm in love with the thing and would just like to hear from you guys on what you think and if you had any good websites for upgrades I might be able to do to it, thank you very much

here is the jeep,

Welcome to our playground.

My daughter lives in Richmond and the wifey and other daughter are coming over to see her this weekend. She went to school at Hollins in Roanoke for her master's degree.

Welcome to the WF. You have some great areas to wheel a Jeep. We used to visit Roanoke/Salem 3-4 times a year when my wife's Aunt/Uncle & kids lived there. My sister-in-law also went to Radford for here Masters. We almost convinced ourselves to move there when we graduated college. Then the uncle got transferred due to a furniture plant closing and we have remained in NC. Really miss those mountains!

Great Look'n Jeep! Welcome to the forum.

I drove through Roanoke on my last road trip and liked it alot. However, I tend to like towns a bit smaller. I've actually seriously considered moving to Lexinton.

See ya around
