Default New guy in Indianapolis

Hi everyone! My name is Kenny, and I can't wait to get my hands on a wrangler. I don't have one yet, but I plan on picking one up soon. I'm no stranger to automobiles, but this would be my first off road machine.

It will be a change from previous toys for sure, 525hp 03 Cobra, 98 LS1 Vette w/150hp shot... but it will be a nice change. Plus the outdoors is something my fiance enjoys as well. It will be nice to have something that I can drive in ALL weather, plus driving with the top and doors off is amazing. I have been on a few trail rides with friends in there cherokees, but I really want a wranger. I'll have one soon, but for now if anybody plans on doing some off roading in the Indy area, I make a good passenger/drinking buddy!

Welcome aboard Kenny! I am a hoosier too. Just about an hour north of you. Good luck on pulling the trigger and getting a jeep.

Welcome from NC. I was just in Indianapolis Thur through Saturday. Bands of America competition at Lucas Oil Stadium. Really neat place. And no airlocks to deal with like the RCA dome! We stayed in Noblesville again so I got to see a lot of wide open space I kept thinking I wished I had brought the Jeep. So many open spaces and so little time

That's what was going on this past weekend! We were down there for dinner on Saturday night and there were people EVERYWHERE! Not that downtown Indy isn't busy on the weekends, but not 3 hour dinner wait busy! That stadium is pretty cool, much better than the RCA Dome. Colts games are fun in there, but it doesn't seem as loud as the RCA Dome. Cool having the roof open though.

That would be great! I'm in Avon on the west side. Let me know. I'll try and dig up some pics of the cars:

Here is the vette-

Also had a 98 Camaro with a crate LS6-

And the Cobra-(I will have another one of these!)

I will for sure. Right now I'm kind of stuck upside down with the SRT-4 I have now. By the spring I should be able to get rid of it (and have a little bit more pay...) and then I'll be picking up a Jeep. Just in time to take the top off!
