Hello all, my name's Dave and I'm in the Air Force here in North Dakota. I finally picked up a Wrangler after all the se years of just riding in a friends and working on everyone elses. I got a 1990 4.2 that need alot of care. I'm considering an engine swap and get it up on 33's maybe. That'll change as a new shiny penny shows itself to me of course. I hope to help contribute to the site as I learn from it as well. I am on forums for a few different types of vehicles and know the game.
I've lived here for over 14 years now. I came here straight from Los Angeles. Extreme weather is nothing. I endured -82* with wind chill here and even went 6 days at over 120* over in Kuwait. Living in the good weather areas, you see more stupid people. Here, they tend to leave or die in the cold. Either way, I have less idiots to deal with. I love the place and will retire here. My wife's truck has never had a block heater and is parked outside all the time. She does have a remote starter though. My dually is parked outside but HAS to be plugged in as it's a modified diesel. THe garage is reserved for projects. I now have my 63 Fairlane and a 90 Wrangler in there The cold killing cars is no more. preventative maintenance and care for vehicles has gone up.
