New guy in New caney Texas

Hello, all
I am not an owner yet but looking to buy my first jeep soon . looking for some input on what to buy .I like the 97 and up models. But I dont know much about them so I joined a jeep forum to talk to the experts. Tony have a great day

Welcome to the forum!

What are you going to use your Jeep for? Something to run around town in or do you plan on building it up and taking it offroad? There are lots of good choices but it just depends on how you intend to use it.

Thanks for the information. Its going to be used for driving on the street most of the time. But in deer season it will be at the lease. I also have a 4 wheeler but when its cold that is when the jeep will come in handy. I will be fixing it up but I dont know about lifting it up . maybe a 2" lift nothing major. I dont want it to be a weekend project. What is the diffrence in fuel consumption between a 4 to 6 cyl.What kind of mileage are people getting with stock setup.
