new guy needs help

hi. i have a 93 wrangler. i'm in the process of replacing the turn signal/windshield wiper switch on the steering column. i have everything disconnected, but cannot get the shroud off the column. any ideas out there?

I would help you, if I had ever tried to do that. But alas, I have no use for turn signals, on my YJ. Sorry to not be of any help.

Thanks. Turn signals are not that big of a deal, but the windshield wipers are a big help in the A.M.

Totally understandable. Even on the trail, the wipers have come in handy......... Hopefully someone will chime in here, that has done this repair. Best of luck.

Welcome, Copterdoctor, to the madness of the Jeep life! BTW, the guys at my local Jeep dealership have given me some over the phone pointers on more than one occasion. Maybe a dealership close to you might help you. Also, you might pick up a copy of the Haynes Repair Manual for that era Jeep at a place like Advance Auto Parts. They run about $17 and might have the answer for you. Hope this helps. Again, welcome!
