New here, and first jeep

We just bought our first jeep, a used '95 with the 2.5l and 116k.
The closest I've come to a jeep in the past was an '81 FJ40 Landcruiser. Man - that thing was fun, and indestructible - but a tank.

This will be a spare vehicle, just something to take out and have fun in, take the top off in the warmer months, keep some of the miles off the newer vehicles.

Right now, it has 30s on it (FORD wheels), but we're getting a set of 5 spoke Jeep wheels from a guy at work today (cheap). Plans are a 2-3" lift when these tires wear out, 31" tires. It's a hard top, so, we'll also be getting a soft top and/or bikini top, windjammer and tonneau.

Welcome! Sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun in that thing. Don't forget the jeep wave!

Welsome to the forum. A lot of fun as a spare vehicle! My cars sit out and the Wrangler and my tools have the garage!
