New Houston Jeep owner

Hey all, just thought I would introduce you guys to my new (for me) 2004 Jeep Sport SE. My wife named him Gordy since our first trip with him was to Matagorda. When I bought him about a month ago, he had 35,500 miles on it. He's now at 36,700. He did have wobble at 45-50 that was causing me sleepless nights, but after putting new tires on it, no more wobble. I've got an issue with the ac/heat blower not working on the first two speeds. The resister was ordered yesterday and should be ready for pick up. So that should fix that problem.

Anyway, you guys will likely see me on here picking your brains on customizing it some. Most of my trips are to beach, and I want to keep this Jeep for a long long time. I'm a neat freak, so I don't make it much more than a couple miles off the beach before I'm rinsing it down and cleaning it up. In any case, any customization I do will likely revolve around extra storage (already have a carrier for the back). Thinking I will want a rack on the top but need to refill the coffers after dropping all the money on new tires. In any case, you can probably tell I'm excited. This also gives me an opportunity to try out my pic posting. Hopefully lots more to come.

Ya, I'm always conflicted between keeping it clean and loving all the off-road dirtiness.

Welcome to a fellow Houstonian. This is the place for picking brains.
