New in VA

Hello everyone!

I bought my white '13 JK Sport S soft-top back in April and have been lurking about ever since but never signed up.

This is my first Jeep -- in fact, it's my first domestic branded vehicle -- and so far I've been enjoying our time together. I've only performed a few cosmetics on it so far: sticker removal, grill/headlight trim, and a shorty antenna.

Now come the big-ticket items....

-David

Well sir, it just so happens the best (and only) trails I've found where the police don't want to harass you are smack dab in the middle of both of us...

Have you put yours through it's paces yet? I know I'd be a little more timid with a newer Jeep like yours!

When I picked my Jeep up it had 400 miles on it (it was driven to the local dealership from Charlotte, NC) and I think it has about 1400 miles on it now after 5 months. It's my "fun" car behind my DD and a motorcycle (which the Jeep is intended to replace) so between that and working too much I haven't had the time I've wanted to get out and explore. I had a chance to take it over to WV two weekends ago and drove some gravel back roads through the mountains (no 4x4 required) and the stock tires SUCK! I'm certain that I'd get stuck in under 60 seconds if I tried to do anything with it, LOL!

So, in short, NO I haven't put it through ANY paces but my wife is wanting me to get a small lift and bigger tires (yes, she actually wants me to do this!) and then I'll probably start taking some baby steps into the off-road realm. BTW, my JK is a 6-speed with 3.73 and LSD.
