New Jeep chick from MN

Hey everyone I'm from MN or that snowy cold place in the north, or the movie Fargo (except Fargo is in MN) anyways like I said im new, Ive never even changed a tire on my own so im really looking to learn and not depend on others for my future projects.

Next mods: 31's or 33's (when my tires now go out, that give me a year to save up,) 4" suspension lift, rear bumper, new spot lights.

Current project: fixing my damn horn.

Welcome
I just did some work on my steering column and the horn is the first to take off. I would suggest you pick up a repair manual to help guide you in your repairs. Having someone there to help but not do the work will save you time and frustration.
That's what I try to do with my daughter so she knows some of the basics, along with getting her AAA which helped when she was going to school in Eau Claire.
I was just up to Winona and picked up an ax15 transmission and a np 231 transfer case to upgrade my broken ba 10 transmission.

A week exactly I know for sure that my horn works there is an eletrical problem or a short in the wires. The wires have a charge near the battery, but no charge near the horn, so somewhere inbetween there is a short I just dont know what to do about it.

Lakeville/Farmington-ish ( I find people dont always know where Lakeville, is but Farmington as always recognized.) I was glad for the 50 degree whether but now we are dropping down to the mid-20's so everything is going to freeze over night and rush hour is gonna hectic. But im not too happy about all the flooding thats gonna happen, I'm gonna more than likely get "deployed" to the Red River area or the Winona area, which will cost me a couple weeks at school... oh well at least i'd be helping people save their houses

Ehh.. I didnt hear about the weather dropping, crap well this is gonna suck for a while.. Good thing i have some good tires or else id be stuck on my road..
Never been to Lakeville but heard of it.. And with all the snow that we had this year compared to last year (flooding was bad last year too) Im just glad i am not in the path of it.. Stillwater is gonna have a hell of a time with there lift bridge this year.. lol, it was at the bottom of the bridge last year.

How has your jeep been doing so far in this snow? or did you just get it?

Thanks for all the welcomes.

Ya, Stillwater is a border town isnt? That is going to be interesting, same with the Hastings brigde I dont think its a draw bridge but I know they blocked it off for a couple days when it rain for 2 weeks straight in Sept. Lol the joys of living in Minnesota. I got my jeep last thursday so I havent been through any snow yet, but I "accidentally" hit a puddle of mud (and ice, that I didnt know about) my tires kind of suck, but ive got a while left on that tread so i'll keep it for now.
