New Jeep Guy in CT

Hello all,
Ive been lurking around for a while, reading up. Figured I'm ready to introduce myself.

Name is Rob, I'm 33 years old. I'm new to owning a Jeep, have wanted one since I was a teenager.

I wrecked my Honda CRV and when I got my insurance check I decided it was time to get the Jeep. I shopped around quite a bit thinking I wanted a newer wrangler. Never found one nice enough at my price point.

Bumped into a 1990 YJ with the 4.2 auto. Already lifted with quite a few off road additions. Sitting on 33's. Got it for a steal. Almost no rust. Figured Id sink the extra money into customizing it.

Anyway, Great site and knowledgeable folks here. Thanks!!
