new Jeep owner from Des Moines, IA

I just bought a 2008 Jeep Wrangler X. Its a black soft top manual transmission. I am coming from a 2003 Ford Focus ZX3. I thought it was time to try something different so my wife and I decided to look at Jeeps. We have both always liked Wranglers. I sold my Focus to my parents last Friday and havent looked back. The Jeep is so much fun to drive! However, an Iowa winter probably isn't the best time to get used to driving a rear wheel drive vehicle.

welcome to the forum. ya it is a rear wheel drive, but it has 4wd so that should not be a problem. (hopefully you go the 4wd Wrangler)

oh yeah i got the 4WD Wrangler. I was driving home yesterday and as I shifted into 4th gear the backend swung way out. After making sure my seat was still clean I went back to 3rd and turned on the 4wd for the rest of the trip.
