New Jeep owner here

Hey guys, Im 22 years old from NY this is my 3rd vehicle, 1st time jeep owner, 1st time suv/truck owner.

I've always loved how the Wranglers look, the toughness, riding with the top down, 4X4...anyways

Im currently deployed, and I bought a deep water blue 2010 Wrangler Sport. I have 2 months left, and when I get home Ill have it waiting for me at the dealership. It will be my daily driver, so I am a little hesitant to be taking it over any large boulders. Maybe some light offroading, I wouldnt want a bunch of scratches on a new car .

I was a little disapointed in the absence of a bigger more powerful engine than the standard 3.8 v6. So, I would like to add more ponies to the engine. Maybe add a lift to it, with tires. I tried looking for aftermarket parts for the JK, I had alot of problems finding what I wanted. Could somebody maybe post a good URL?

Welcome!

Tremendous choice of vehicles! Once you get this in your blood, you'll find the Jeep "addiction" never goes away. Thanks for serving our nation. My son is a combat medic serving outside Bagdhad and is due home about the first of February. Welcome to the forum!
