New Jeep TJ owner in Texas

Hi everyone,

Name here is Steven.

Got my Jeep a few weeks ago. It is a 2001 Wrangler Sport model with the 4.0, a 5 spd and 105K miles. It was not stock and had lots of mods. See my profile for a list.

I have already added some upgrades of my own too. New black soft top w/half doors, KC driving lights on the windshield A pillar, dual battery setup, neoprene seat covers, high amp alternator and a quad band ham radio.

I did a few minor repairs, replaced two burnt out lamps in the rock lights and the under hood courtesy light. The passenger fold and tumble release cable that was broken, so I replaced with an aftermarket lever. My oldest son said "Looks good dad, you Steveified the Jeep."

I'm even happy with the fuel economy.. 12.5 mpg. Which is so much better than the 8.8 mpg I get in my '02 2500 Suburban with 33s.

I'm really excited about having the Jeep and glad to be here on the forum!
