Talking New Jeeper From Texas

Hey guys! My name is Dylan and I've been a proud Jeep owner since June. I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport with a softop on it. I'm a total noon when it comes to fixing up vehicles, and this is the first one I've ever owned that I want to fix up. I look forward to learning as much as I can from all the guys and gals here and hopefully someday I'll be able to help out the new folks. Right now my jeep is completely stock. There are a few things I would like to upgrade on it.

1) New tires. I've been looking at Dick Cepek Crushers 33x12.5x15. Not because they have skulls on the tires and look cool, but because I've read allot of good reviews about them and they seem to be cheaper than most of the mud tires of the same size. I'm going to keep the rims I have now, which are Eagle Alloys 15x8's.

2) A Daystar suspension/body lift combo. It's a 3" suspension lift with a 1" body lift.

I'm going to wait until after the holidays to start on this but for now that's as far as I'm going to go. I was told on another forum that this setup would work fine. If you have any input to anything I should do different, I'm all ears.

Dylan

Congratulations, Dylan!

If you decide you need gears, 31 inch tires will take you a lot of places until you are ready to go the whole enchilada. Best Wishes!!

Sounds like you've got a good plan there. You should post some before and after photos. Welcome to the forum!
