New JK in Boston

I picked up my first Jeep on Friday - 2010 Unlimited Sahara. I always wanted one, so with all the current incentives it seemed like it was finally my time.

The weather in Boston over the weekend was fantastic for running topless. In fact, I took the Freedom Panels off at the dealership and havenít put them back on since. Thanks to all the tips in various threads, I got the hardtop on and off with out any problems. However, I definitely think my first accessory will be a garage hoist for the top.

Second will be some type of bumper protection for the times I do park on the street.
It seems that typical Boston parallel parking technique is:
1) Back into the car behind you
2) Pull forward and hit the car in front of you
3) Back up an inch.
4) Reverse steps 1-3 to exit parking spot.

Iím thinking the Go Rhino Dominator Step installed upside-down in the hitch would provide protection and look cool under the spare tire. see picture below. Anybody have one of these?

Iím open to suggestions for the front Ė let me know what you think - Thanks!

Welcome to WF. I like that idea for the rear. You might try a stinger for the front.
