New JK Unlimited Sahara Owner in PA

So while at the beach my wife went through her mid-life crisis (40) seeing all these young, cute women driving Wranglers around town with the tops down and doors off.
She mentioned how she no longer feels she needs her Buick Enclave since we always end up driving one of my vehicles- Expedition EL or Pontiac G8GT everywhere we go.
I mean face it, Enclave's are smooth, loaded, comfy vehicles...but pretty meh.
So she mentioned how she missed driving around in my Wrangler Renegade back when we first met. Well as any JEEP-loving husband would do...I jumped on that within minutes. I had pics of all the JEEP Unlimited's within a 200 mile radius. We need an Unlimited because of our kids and because a condition of purchase was that she could still retain the flexibility of a 4-door.

So low and behold she calls me into the kitchen to tell me she had found her JEEP. To say that was like sex to my ears, is an understatement!
So, I check this beast out...Sahara- flame red, chrome package, chrome wheels, painted hard top/dual top package, two tone leather interior, navigation...HOLY HELL! I don't think our GC Overland had all this a couple years ago!
Anyway, I have never, ever seen her so excited to get a vehicle. She even stated she wanted to go with me to pick it up so she could drive it home from the dealership which was 2 hours away.

This will be our 6th JEEP preceded by a CJ7, Wrangler Renegade, Cherokee, GC Laredo, GC Overland. By far my favorite was the '82 CJ7. To me that WAS a JEEP. Bikini top in the summer, hardtop and doors in the winter. Don't burn your feet on the floorboards or hands on the metal dash!

However I must admit, although the purists are always willing to bash the latest and greatest model line...this '13 is pretty darn sweet. Not off-road, rock climbing sweet (although I am sure it is capable). But 40 year old wife in a bikini with a cowboy hat on sweet.
And besides, without any of my original influence...I'm back in a JEEP again! Win-Win!!!
