Hello. I live in Sandersville ga. I have a 1999 Sahara that i recently purchased. Im having some electrical issues. My dash lights, turn signals, and running lights are not working. The previous owner let her sit out in the rain without a top for an extended period of time. The jeep only has 49k miles. The interior looks like 249k. Im about to restore the interior but need to solve the electrical issues first. Ive read some of the threads about this type of problem but nothing specific to mine. Does anyone have any ideas. Looking forward to being part of this group. Thx for any advice.

Welcome to the Forum

It sounds like the clock spring needs to be replaced. That's about the only thing inside the Jeep that hates water.

Is the clock spring a dealer item and is it hard to replace? The parts store didnt have one and thought it might be a dealer part.
