New member, 2nd jeep, kinda.

New to the forums. Had a Commander last year, this was the result after some drunk POS ran a red light in the middle of the night...

So after a year of riding my motorcycle (after recovering from all sorts of broken ribs, vertebrae, blah blah blah) I just picked up a tj the other day. It was purple, now it's Rustoleum flat black. No worries, I'm going to paint it for real once all the lift and other goodies go on it this summer, still flat black though.

Welcome to the forum. That was a nasty kiss you got, glad that you are okay. Nice TJ, I don't think that I could drive it purple either. so the flat black is a good mod IMO.

Sorry to hear that. Welcome to WF! Btw is that a plastic hubcap or is that the wheel that broke?

If you find yourself between a rock and a hard place...on second thought, with a Jeep Wrangler you wont ever have to worry about that....

Thanks for the kind words and welcome. Think I'll stick around here for a while, nice people, good info, and some great looking rides on here!

And no woodsballnc, no hubcap, the rim exploded and the other half is sitting in the tire on top on the hood in the photo. If there is a way of finding my photobucket profile and looking at the pics there, my username for photobucket is also dkswift. More views there.

Yeah ageless, not sure if I want to do all that stuff in red, or if I'll continue with the flat black. I kind of wanted to make it match my bike.
