New member from Arkansas

Hello everyone, I'm from Fayetteville Arkansas, I registered on the forum a while back but I'm just now getting around to posting. I'm fairly new to Jeeps, I had a 2001 Cherokee Sport in the past but in February I got rid of it and got a 2004 Wrangler Sport. So far I love it and I think it's one of the best decisions I've ever made! It has 60,000 miles on it, 6cyl., 5-speed, 33" tires. Had the hard top but I've replaced it with a Trektop. The previous owner took real good care of it it. It has a lift (4" I think), and the exhaust has been replaced with a Banks Monster muffler. I looked at the rear axle, and from the research I've done here on the forum and elsewhere on the net, I think it's a Dana 44. I do know it has the 3.73 gears from checking the tag. I plan on doing a few more modifications to it, new front bumper and flares for sure. It's got to be my daily driver but I also plan on doing some off roading, trail riding, but I don't see any rock climbing in the future.

Here's a link to some Pics ImageShack® - sa_lewis's Profile Page

Could someone verify if I'm correct on guessing that the Axle is a D44? And any other input would be appreciated since I don't know much about it. (I'm mainly a car guy, got a 79 Trans Am I've been working on for a few years)
Thanks.

See ya around the forum!

I lived in Searcy for a year a while back. Beautiful country out there. Reminded me of home here in Georgia. Welcome and don't forget to wave.
