New Member from Central CA

I have just recently started Jeeping locally here in Calif. We have spent most of the last 5 years traveling in our Dodge 4x4 homemade motorhome to Mexico and Central America. I would like to find some calm buddies for trail riding in the Sierras and the deserts. Are there any of you from the Salinas/ Monterey/ Gilroy/ Santa Cruz area? We will be spending about 4 months this winter traveling and meeting old friends in Baja. Would like to contact some local folks to talk 4x4 and do some adventures. I have a rather complete shop and like to fabricate and weld. I am a retired college professor. George
