New Member from Chi-Town (w/a question)

Im glad to be an official Wrangler owner again!! Ever since I sold my '98 Sport 5+ years ago ive missed owning a wrangler.

I just purchased a pre-owned (17K miles) 2009 Black 4 door Sahara with 6 spd transmission. Im must say Im happy to be back. A lot has changed since the 98 models and I enjoy learning the new features.

A couple questions:
1) I want to look into seeing if the previous owner had to have any warranty work done. Id like to think he took care of the Jeep as I will also. Does anyone know how I can do this

2) I noticed that with the roof panels off and alarm armed I can reach into the jeep and open the door and nothing happens. Is it possible the alarm has been turned off or perhaps some of the features have been turned off. Does anyone know how to re-set to factory?

Thanks in advance for any responses, happy to be here

Carfax will tell you any work that was done by the dealer...

No clue about the alarm, sorry

When I was looking at my 03, I ran the carfax and it gave me everything on the vehicle. If the PO did do any service work at a dealership or other major repair facility, it should show up on that. The other nice part of the carfax is the update on any major issues or recalls that were done or are due.

Welcome to WF.
