Smile New member from Maine

Hey guys I'm Rustin. I live in Maine in some great 4x country. I am currently jeepless and it is very depressing. I have owned two and had to sell them both.
I started with an 86 CJ7 and loved it, I had two kids and wanted somthing with shoulder belts in the back. I sold my CJ and picked up a 98 TJ. I put 31'' tires on it right away and a 2'' lift. We had a ball.
I told myself we would never live without a jeep. I dont know what happened?? Somewhere along the way I thought I needed a pickup more than I needed a jeep. And then the worst thing happened, I SOLD MY SOUL !!! AAAGGGHHHH!!!
So anyway now that I got that off my chest, I am now back in the hunt for a jeep. I think I will go back to a CJ7 I just love the way they look. They look like they could eat you up and spit you back out. You know what I mean just big and ugly.
Nice to meet all of you!!..

Allright!!
It is exicting to see people responding so quick.
I am from Livermore Falls Maine, right below Farmington
Quick info on me is that I love to hunt and fish and just be with my family. I think jeeps of all shapes and sizes are cool (I'm not biased). I'm at home in the big woods of northern Maine. I have spent Hours hicking through the woods without running into another persons. We have been on trails that never seem to end with our jeeps (or other off road rigs). I currently do my off roading in a dodge dakota. Also I have been a machinist for 12 years.
Have a good one.

If you look into older Jeeps or maybe even Cj7 stuff Mark will be your best friend!!!

anyways maybe if you get your Jeep we can get together sometime in the summer.
i haven't been out yet in my Cj because all i was doing last summer was trying to fix it up.
I think I will just start finding old roads on the map and find out how long the actualy go for.

Wow a jeep offer allready,
I should have stated that I'm also in the hunt for money, I can't purchace anything at this time, although I loved the offer. I have thought about selling my truck but I think my wife might kill me.
Anyway it is nice to feel so welcome, I have always felt that with jeep people. It was great to get and give the jeepers wave I had a hard time stoping when I got my truck. I just kept waving at every jeep I saw. Peolpe probably thought I was a wack-job.
See Ya.
