New Member from NoVA

Hi everyone, new member from Northern Virginia here! I've lurked around before but I'm excited to finally join the community.

I recently bought a 2000 TJ Sport, and owned a 1998 Sahara in high school & college and did quite a bit of work on it. My new Jeep is going to be a daily driver, but I still plan on making a few mods to make it my own.

I'm pretty handy when I put my mind to it, but I don't have the technical car knowledge that so many members here have, so please be patient with me and I'll do my best to grow out of n00b status quickly!

Nice! I was lucky enough to have this almost-new set on when I bought the Jeep. The soft top seems pretty much new, too. Lucked out, I guess!

Thank you! My Sahara was green and I really liked that combo with the green/tan interior, but I have to say I've always liked the gray & black combo the most!

Would any of you possibly be able to help me out on my first thread over here? I have a turn signal that's fast-flashing and I'm not sure what steps to take next to get it fixed.

Hey if you didn't figure it out yet, it's usually a blown bulb. Pretty simple to replace. Occasionally water can get inside and corrode out the lighting harness and it will need to be replaced but it's usually a bulb.

By the way...I'm over in Crystal City area and we have almost identical jeeps!

I tried new bulbs but no luck. Ended up taking it to my usual shop and they were able to track down a wiring short.

Haha that's great! I've been excited to be able to go topless the past few days now that it's finally warmed up around here. Have any good trail spots in the DMV you know of? When I had my last Jeep I was living out near WV so there was no shortage. Doesn't seem to be too much out this way though.

Actually I just moved here about 6 months ago. I'll definitely be looking to find some places and people to go with.
