Ok, time for the review!
After having had issues with several other dealerships (mentioned earlier in this thread), I finally settled on a price over the internet with Northwest Dodge Chrysler Jeep on Highway 290 just on the NW side of Houston (outside of Beltway 8).
My initial contact was with Miss Iris Martinez, and after settling on a price, her partner, Ryan Flores handled everything from there.
I set my financing up with Bank of America beforehand at 3.44% for 72 Mos with only my holding deposit down ($500). Their finance guy was able to beat my rate with a whopping 3.4% also through BoA (so, yes, .04 is a bit of a savings, not much, but every dime helps). (my score is in the high 600's)
Our agreed upon price was 34,261 (incl dest @995), which was 2.5% below invoice for the vehicle and 5.2% below MSRP. I had no other incentive or offer programs on the deal.
tax was 2079.
Doc Fee was 100
I took Gap insurance (my insurer Geico didn't offer it to me) at $720 ($10 per month)
Title and License fee was another 120 or so
I did not take the extended warranty through them, I will shop that around.
37,280 out the door
-500 (down payment)
36,780 financed @ 3.4% for 72 mos.... $565 a month.
There was no stress, no pressure from Iris, Ryan or Billy their finance guy. They expected me for 1230 and I was on my way home by 1400 with a full 20 minute over-view of the vehicle with their delivery department.
I would use them again, even though they were 45 miles away and I had to pass up 5 closer dealerships.
