New member w/a problem

Hey folks....I have a 98 wrangler. Has A/C & when I run the a/c water will collect on the passengers side. I know the problem is w/the drain tube...I have blown the tube out w/air compressor, ran a rod into it, etc..so I know it's not blocked. I am going to assume that the tube has either broke or has come loose from the box. Mechanic wants $350.00 to fix it. I have read several posts where a 2"x3" hole was cut into the firewall to get to drain tube. Several problems w/all the "home" fixes...I am disabled so crawling around under/over the vehicle is nearly impossible; there is no enough room near the drain to cut a hole.

Does anyone have a fix for this besides pulling the dash?

Welcome to the forum! Not sure about your problem, you may want to post in the TJ tech section for a better response. Good luck with your problem!
