Welcome to the forum. The TJ is a great Jeep and fun to drive. There are an infinite number of ways to modify a Jeep but your money should be spent first on safety and reliability. Then on performance and capability. Finally some lipstick and bling for that old girl.
You have to decide what you want it to do and what kind of wheeling you will do the most. That will guide your mods.
Join a club in your area and see what the rest do and they will tell you what works and what doesn't. Take it out in the trail even pure stock it is very capable. Then make a plan and execute.
