Default New owner w/ problem seeking help

Finally bought a Jeep Wrangler after wanting one for so long. It is a 2010. It has jumped out of first gear several times accompanied by a loud popping sound. Taking it in to the dealer, but was hoping to get some feedback if anyone has come across this problem.
