Due to the top always being down.. If someone want to climb in they can with or without the doors locked LOL when I bought mine I wanted the model with electric windows and locks and then I thought about it why. I am pretty happy with the manual locks and windows. However, yours is a 4 door and mine is a 2 doors so it would be worth it for you... what site did you find your wheels on or did you get them at firestone too??

I was looking at your jeep with the stock sport wheels and then with the upgrade wheels it look so good... Did you get those on Mopar website or online?? What a difference the wheels make really...

I bought them directly from a guy that is totally upgrading his Rubicon and he barely used them. I just had to pick them up which was only about 1.5 hours away at Elias 4WD Center in Townsend. (Definitely going back there when we do the lift!) I'm so incredibly happy with them - and the off road tires really does it!!! You can check craigslist or ebay and get a much better deal with used.

What great about it is that I love them so much that the money I was going to put into new wheels and tires next year I'm going to be able to spend on so many other fun mods... I'm REALLY wanting that lift now.

Jeep ( Just Empty Every Pocket ) I try to tell all of my customers that to own a jeep is truly a joy. But if you are going to do mods think of where you want it to be in 5 years, plan for that, Spend your money Once and spend it Wisely. it works if you plan it right you will only buy parts once and in the long run it will be cheeper.
Enjoy the jeep treat it with respect, give it the love and TLC it deserves and it will last a life time. ( That sounds like my Marrage) Guess it works been married 38 years had the jeep for 17 years.

Just installed Side Steps WOW they make the whole Jeep look so much better... I hated being able to see the frame of the Jeep and now the Side Steps hide it... Looks great... Just thought I would share.. They would look cool on yours too... They would make yours look llike a Sahara, you already have the wheels... Got them on Amazon for 259.00 worh the money now the kids can climb in the back without a problem....

OMG I was just looking at those at Quadratec today. I've debating on the cheap $130 ones or the nicer ones like you got. Where is the updated pic? and I know EXACTLY what you mean... seeing the frame of the Jeep is driving me nuts too... it wasn't as bad as the stock wheels but it is seriously so hard with JP magazines and part catalogs all around the house. AND... my job involves automotive aftermarket parts! I can't win!!!

Before I got them I went to dealer and checked them out on a jeep on the lot... They were the same so I got them.. I went on amazon and typed in 2011 Jeep Wrangler side steps and this is what I got.. The company on Amazon was Called Mopar Headquarters. They are genuion Mopar and they are so easy to put on. I mean easy ! took me 10 minutes each side. I really liked the ones that matched... DON"T GET ANYTHING CHEAP!!!! they might be just that cheap.... Take look...

these are the linkes I looked at both of them------- Amazon.com: Jeep Wrangler Side Steps Running Boards Molded Mopar: Automotive

and aother Amazon.com: Jeep Wrangler 2 Door Running Board: Automotive

One more thing about them. I could have samed a little money if I got the ones that said they fit 2010 Wranglers, but did not know that till after I got them... So search out 2010 - 2011 side steps so you can get the best price. I think that the standard black ones look great and now it does not look like something is missing... I just hated seeing the frame- between the front and back wheel flares It always looked to me that something was missing or fell off ... I also got this for my windows and handles to hold on to check it out.... Amazon.com: Clover Patch 10-ST-9702 Window Roll for Storage of Windows For 2007-08 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door: Automotive and Amazon.com: Rampage 769301 Grab Handle - Pair: Automotive

Next year its going to be wheels...

Too funny!!!! I was just looking at this and got husbands approval to get it. Bestop 42810-09 - Bestop HOSS™ Window Storage Duffle in Charcoal For Bestop and Factory Zip Out Vinyl Windows - Quadratec

I like the handles! And good idea with the steps. I did check other posts and others have liked the cheaper steps but... I'm not sure that I wouldn't still be checking out the ones I REALLY wanted and wishing I had gotten them.
