Talking New San diego forum lurker

Hello everyone. I figured I'd take a few minutes to do "the introduction".

After getting advice from this forum a few times, I figured I'd join and try to contribute instead of just being a user.

I live in southern California, currently drive an 06 Rubicon that replaced a 2000 Wrangler sport that was fully stock. Essentially, I was discussing with the wife (a.k.a, boss) how much $$$ I could spend on lifting/armoring/then slowly destroying the jeep. She (helpfully) recommended that I just upgrade if it was cheaper in the long run.

So, I went from this: Name: DSCF6666.JPG

To this:

Yeah, I like em Yellow, but green, red, blue and black would work too!

Before the first jeep, my previous offroad experience has been pickup truck + mud or sand. Did some easier rock work with the 2000, and am working my way up, like:

I wanted to say that I appreciate a lot of the work that goes into this forum by the staff and by the members who help each other out. I don't know much, but I'll be happy to share what I do know.

Larry

Yeah...but...

I can do that. Bad news is that in (her) hindsight is that a monster has been created and all with her consent.

I'd be afraid of the advice that she gave out...but, she does like going out with me. I just hope the first serious break-down doesn't "cure" her of it!
